Just got these in yesterday and man are they amazing and not expensive at all. I got the remote and three collars for $90.00 and i got them in the mail the next day. I do not use the Static Shock feature, only the beep and the vibrate, that is all that is needed to correct bad habits for those inside dogs. Please use this device with caution, READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS before you start pushing buttons, these are not toys and can cause harm if not used properly. Works - Oster Professional Nail Grooming Kit

I highly recommend these for those of you that understand and know how to correctly clip your dogs nails. These are fast and easy, painless and you'll be done before your dog knows what your doing. I do recommend you getting them use to the noise before trying this for the first time.

Work - KONG Space Saving Double-Door Pet Crate

Yes this is more expensive than the other kennels out there but it is well worth it. This is a heavy duty kennel designed to keep any dog in. My boxer could get out of anything except for this crate, now he chewed the black tray and the bed that was in it but he couldn't get out of the kennel. It is easy to fold up and store and has wheels which is great because you all know these XL dog crates are heavy. I traveled with this crate and have no issues with it other than the price but like I said if you want something as great as this you're going to have to pay for it. It's worth the money guys, especially if you have a stubborn dog.

Waste - PediPaws Pet Nail Trimmer

This was a complete waste, not only will it not trim a large dogs nails, it takes forever to trim a small dog. When I tried cutting my GSP's nails the wheel just stopped, it didn't have enough power to cut her nails. Even if he had enough power she would not have sat there long enough for me to even do one nail with this nail trimmer. Then I thought well maybe it will work on the cat since cats nails are much softer and smaller, bad idea. The cat hates the noise and the feeling of their nail vibrating. I would recommend some of the other electric nail trimmers made by Oster, I have one and it works great.

Work - FroliCat BOLT Interactive Laser Pet Toy

This was definitely one of the best purchases I made, my cat would play and play with this thing. She loved it so much that when she heard me turn it on she would come running. It makes a clicking noise when you turn it on and she associated that noise with laser fun and would come running.

This is a great way for you cat to get exercise when you're busy cooking or cleaning, it will keep them occupied and having fun. I highly recommend this for those with "lazy" cats, it will definitely get them up and moving in no time. It turned my sleepy cat into a kitten again.

Work - Whisker City Kitty Caps Cat Nail Caps

Don't laugh about these colored little nail covers because they will save everything in your home including yourself from being scratched. I have used these for years on my cats, not only are they cute with the different colors they come in but they work and they stay on.

I recommend only using these if your cat does not hate you, because you do have to hold them long enough to be able to put these on. My cats never minded getting them put on, but they never minded nail clipping or hair cutting so I guess I was lucky. I would start them off while they are kittens, even though i started mine on adult cats, i just think it's always easier dealing with the smaller versions of fury friends when trying to teach a behavior.

Work - PetSafe Easy Walk Dog Harness

Worth It!

I spent 2 hours in Pet-smart one day trying to find the right harness that would stop my dog from jumping, I tried the collar that is meant specifically to stop your dog from jumping, walked him around Pet-smart and nope didn't work, was more of a pain than anything. I finally gave up after two hours and was walking out the door when one of the Volunteers that had pets their for adoption told me about this harness, the Easy Walk, she said even though it is designed to keep the dog from pulling you when you walk them it works for jumping also. Boy was she right, no jumping and no pulling when walking him around. When he would go to jump, the location of the leash hook, pulls against him and does not allow him to jump. It also  keeps the pitbull from pulling when I walk him. This is definitely something i recommend for anyone with a strong walker or a jumping problem.

No Just for Barking!!!

I purchased this little gadget to stop the dogs from barking and from jumping. It was on sale for $12.00 so I figured what the heck, and just bought it. There are mixed results on this product depending on the age of your dog. I found that the 4 year old Pit Bull could care a less if you pushed the button all day long, it does not phase him at all. The 1 year old mix and the  7 month old lab are a different story. This is a silent trainer but works great with the two younger dogs, I'm not sure if it's the age that makes the difference or the type of dog or the intelligence of the dog. I started out with giving a command and pressing the button at the same time, now we have graduated to only pressing the button and they stop whatever they are doing and go lay down. My only concern would be that I was hoping the dogs would get to the point where they just stopped doing the bad things but hopefully that will come with time. For the price I say what the heck, if you have some corrections you would like for your younger dog to learn then buy it, it's cheap and it could work for you.
